2. HER THOUGHTS...
PHASE 2:
A week passed by...
"What's the relationship status??? I was thinking to myself. The feelings are growing more. Gosh! What do I do with this restlessness??" she murmured to herself.
She was freaking out. Yeah it was only a week but the feeling of losing him was already there. Weird right?
What if she tells him or asks him and he says he doesn't feel the same way and it was only that one moment. What will she do then?
Trying to calm herself down she tried her best to not talk to him and just be normal. But for how long could she do that.
She wasn't getting to have a moment with him alone so that she could initiate the conversation. It was difficult to have one when all the roommates were always around. Nevertheless she managed to find some alone time as the roommates were out for dinner.
She found him busy with his assignments, but this was the only time when she could talk to him. So she did go ahead...
"Ummm, hey you! Could you spare couple of minutes to have a conversation with me ", she asked him.
"Sure ma'am, I'm all ears", he said. (Yeah! ma'am is what he called her).
"So, I've been thinking, about us, like what next? It's getting difficult to go with the flow, I know that we decided it but it's not happening, my restlessness is just eating me up, I'm sorry if I'm scaring you but I don't wanna be hanging in this situation. I've always liked it black or white and I prefer having this conversation for once and finish it. That way it doesn't hurt anyone!", she sighed.
"Wow! Ma'am you're just over thinking. But yeah I do understand your insecurity. Honestly I myself really don't know what's the problem, I just need some time I guess ", he replied.
Shit! What does she ask now? If he himself isn't clear then how could she force him to speak up. Only one thing she was definitely sure bout was that there is something that he isn't telling her. Maybe it's personal. Maybe he needs time to open up. Maybe it's too soon to be his comfort zone.
All these things running in her mind, she answered "No problem, you can tell me once you're comfortable. You could go back to your work now!", she smiled. (Yes, she did hide her restlessness under her smile. She was good at that).
Once again she remained restless, but now at least he has a hint and knows that this is what she's thinking. Maybe next time she has a conversation with him, he may be a little sure or prepared with something at least. Wasn't so bad to at least gave it a try. Convincing herself, she did feel better."
